1. Log in to your server via SSH

Open your terminal and connect:

ssh root@<YOUR-SERVER-IP>

2. Run the installation command

Paste this into your terminal:

cd /home && curl -o latest -L \https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest

This downloads and installs the latest cPanel & WHM version.

3. Access WHM (server administration interface)

After the installation completes (this can take 10–20 minutes), you can access WHM (Web Host Manager).

WHM is the server-level interface where you configure your server and create/manage cPanel accounts.

Open the following URL in your browser:

https://<YOUR-SERVER-IP>:2087

Log in using your root credentials:

Username: root

Password: your server’s root password

Important:

WHM is not the same as cPanel. WHM is used to configure the server and create cPanel accounts. You will access cPanel later, after completing the initial setup.

If you cannot log in:

You can generate a one-time login link by running the following command in your terminal: whmlogin

You’ll be prompted to:

Sign in with your cPanel ID (or create one)

Authorize the server

Confirm your email
